Chemicals
The primary screen of Safe-Labels is the Chemical screen which allows for entry of all pertinent information related to chemicals. Memo fields allow for entry of the product contents and directions in the event of a hazard.
From the chemical screen, users can instantly print labels on preprinted (NFPA hazard logo) label forms in laser or roll format. In addition, labels may be generated on any stock labels purchased at your local office supply store.
Material Safety Data Sheets provided by manufacturers may be pasted into the database from scanned images or other media. To retrieve the sheet, simply locate the chemical and click a single button.
Manuals
Safe-Labels allows you to create and manage an unlimited policy and procedure manuals. You simply enter the manual name and revision dates and then use our built-in editor to create the manual. Alternatively, you can create the manual using your favorite word processor and then paste the document in the database.
Safe-Labels allows you to track as MSDS data on as many chemical as you wish. Plus you can create MSDS labels and manuals whenever they are needed. If the product manufacturer provides a manual in rich text format (rtf) you can quickly load the manual into Safe-Labels.
Safe-Labels is shipped with all standard hazard codes included. However, you can enter additional codes at anytime. Safe-Labels includes complete searching features to quickly search for records on virtually every field. You can also sort on the same fields.
