Resources For Children is a comprehensive program designed specifically for Parent / Family Resource Centers. It is a complete system that includes the following:
Resources For Children is a complete system that has been in use by school district resource centers for over two years. It includes a very easy-to-use interface and is built upon the rock solid Microsoft Database Engine (MSDE).
Resources For Children is easy to install and includes a comprehensive list of pre-designed reports. In addition, our Report Designer is included to allow you to define your own reports or alter existing reports.
Resources Resources For Children allows you to create an unlimited number of resource types and resource subjects. Resource types may be anything from books to games to computers. When resources are entered, you simply select from the list of user defined types.
Each resource can be associated with an unlimited number of subjects. Subjects are defined by you. You also select the grades to which the resource applies. Resources For Children is flexible yet very easy to use.

Checking In / Out Resources Resources For Children makes checking resources in and out fast and efficient. Each process is as simple as following a wizard that steps you through the process.
At check out, simply follow the three steps of the check out wizard. Select the student, the parent or guardian and then select the resources being checked out. You can select resources by entering the resource number, searching or scanning the barcode. Click the Finish button and the application generates the check out document.

At check in, you can check in all resources being returned or just certain items. Simply search for the proper transaction by entering a portion of the last name. Resources For Children automatically displays any outstanding transactions. Select the proper transaction and then select all or a portion of the resources being returned. Click the Finish button and the application generates the return document.

Should you need to search for a particular transaction anytime, Resources For Children provides a comprehensive Transactions Screen for searching and editing transactions.
Resources For Children includes complete screens for entering Parents & Students as well as Teachers & Schools. In addition, a complete setup screen allows you to define certain system defaults, vendors and program features.
A complete list of pre-designed reports are included and ready for use. In addition, Resources For Children includes our Report Designer should you need any additional reports or desire to make changes to any reports.
