ExpressLP

/ Server model of data management. The
Client/Server model for data management is built on the Microsoft
SQL

Contracts
ExpressLP Marketing & Distribution makes contract management
powerful and yet easy to use. With ExpressLP there is no need to
maintain separate customer and vendor data files. Each company can
be identified as belonging to any category or group of categories,
including vendor, customer, prospects, carrier, etc.
The
Contracts section serves as the basis for
which all ExpressLP movements are related. Movements
represent any movement of product from and to the company. All
movements consist of a pickup and delivery contract. Each contract
may be any one of nine different contract types as shown to the right.
The
contracts screen includes many powerful
features that allow your company to define the "deal" the way
you want. The following are just a few of the key features of the

Data is never
entered into the system more than once. The contract is entered
and the marketing begins by entering each individual movement (load)
associated with the contract as the load or movement is scheduled and
completed. All movements are accessed directly from the accounts
payable and accounts receivable modules.
The contracts
section of ExpressLP allows you to track contract pricing and
allocation with unlimited revisions. From one screen, users can
maintain complete contract data. Contracts can be based on a fixed
price, periodic pricing updates, OPIS averages, user defined posting
benchmarks or a combination of these methods. The contracts
section even includes a contract monitor function which alerts the
contract administrator of contracts over allocation, price expiration,
updates needed, etc.
With
ExpressLP Marketing & Distribution, price changes are a snap!
Simply change the user-defined posting
benchmark and tell ExpressLP to update all related
contracts. Next, you can print price change letters and/or have
the ExpressLP Fax Server
automatically fax the price change letters to your customers.

Movements
ExpressLP includes a movement (load) record for every movement of
product from or to your company. The combination of a pickup
contract and delivery contract along with completely user definable
methods of movements allow ExpressLP
to accommodate any type of product movement that your company is likely
to encounter.
The
ExpressLP movements section includes
several utilities that make scheduling more efficient. For
example, if a customer requests four loads every three days for the next
thirty days, you simply enter the first load and let the handy
duplication button create the remaining loads instantly. The
movements section includes many powerful search and reporting functions
that allow you to zoom in on exactly the information needed.
Loads
can be retrieved and sorted on any field including pickup company,
delivery company, location, sales rep, product, date, loading/unloading
tickets, method of delivery, etc. Movements includes powerful
tools for scheduling loads, entering delivery information and finalizing
the movement for invoicing. The movements screen provides more

Tools
The many sales and marketing tools coupled with the comprehensive
contracts functions make ExpressLP the perfect tool for handling
your trading activity. ExpressLP allows you to monitor
projections, allocations, pricing and contract activity.
ExpressLP even includes features
that allow you to perform sales representative analysis and commission
statements. Plus, the comprehensive list of contract and sales reports
provides instant access to contract and sales activity.
Setup
Matters
ExpressLP includes a comprehensive
Administrative
section that allows your company to configure and setup options the
way you operate. For example, you can define an unlimited number of
methods of movements for your company, such as pipeline, inventory
transfer, truck, tank car, etc. The following is an example of the setup
screens accessible from the Administration section.
Inventory
Tracking
No more estimating your inventory levels or cost of product. With ExpressLP,
inventory levels and prices are updated in real time as movements are
entered. In addition to reporting, inventory data is instantly available
on every product through the
Inventory
Analysis screen.
The Inventory Analysis screen allows
users to view available product from Storage and Purchase contracts by
contract pool and by product. It includes the product contract /
location, quantity available and price. Periodic adjustments and locking
of the inventory values are also supported.
Fuel Taxes
& Trucks
Since ExpressLP already knows about every single product
movement, it is a natural tool for generating normally tedious and
time-consuming fuel tax reports for company-operated trucks.
The Fuel Tax module utilizes
hub
readings and driver information to produce a breakdown of the
states/miles involved in each load. In addition, the fuel tax module can
serve as a settlement procedure for
payroll if drivers are paid on a mileage basis. The driver payroll
information feeds directly into the payroll module.
Reporting
& Report Designer
ExpressLP includes a complete list of standard reports that can
be generated to the screen or printed. Users simply complete the report
parameters in the left panel and click on the desired report.
Each section of ExpressLP
includes a special screen with available reports applicable to that
section. All reports can be customized using the built-in
Report
